Perched atop the scenic hills, this Y-shaped home offers breathtaking views of the beautiful Bay of Plenty. Our architectural lighting solution focused on creating well-lit areas with pockets of contrast, enhancing the comfort and ambiance of the spaces. In key areas, we utilized sleek, trimless downlights for a modern and seamless look. The kitchen island features a Recessed Flush/Trimless Bob Each Way Extrusion, chosen for its excellent light output and reduced glare thanks to a negative detail diffuser. For hallways and bathrooms, we selected the Tiny Tim 11 Extrusion, which also feature a negative detail diffuser and offer a cost-effective solution with a flange for easier installation. The main areas benefit from a partly automated lighting system, using DALI power supplies and C-Bus Lighting Control to achieve a full range of dimming options. To highlight the textured brick surfaces of the exterior, we employed up lighting and up/down exterior fixtures, enhancing the architectural details and creating a visually appealing exterior. Our lighting design not only enhances the beauty of this stunning home but also ensures functional and comfortable living spaces, making the most of its picturesque location.
