This beachfront home possesses a unique modernity, blending a sense of industrial strength with contemporary architectural simplicity. Its smooth, dark exterior is minimalist and imposing, emphasizing its functional essence, and creating a sense of safety and seclusion. Offset downlights and pendant reading lights create pockets of contrast in the master bedroom for ultimate visual comfort. Magnetic low voltage tracks are installed following the timber sarked ceiling, elegantly separating the living space from the dining area while providing flexibility in lighting placement. LED profiles were used throughout the home, tailored to the required lighting output. Bob Each Way 65 recessed profiles were used in the bathroom ceilings to match the wall-mounted extrusions in the skylights. Smaller extrusions, like the Flat Freddie 14, were used in areas requiring ambient lighting. This unique residence combines the robustness of industrial design with the clean lines of modern aesthetics, creating a harmonious balance between shelter and style.
