Step 1
Brainstorm
Bring us your lighting design ideas. Once you’ve met with your architect, builder or one of our lighting consultants to talk through your vision, chat about budget, feature lighting, colours and your likes and dislikes, we just need your architectural drawings, plans, elevations and joinery details.
Step 2
Design Time
Time to create. We craft an exciting design plan that outlines every room and the lighting solutions selected with the switching/sensor and dimming locations indicated. At this point we’ll include details of the initial cost (ex GST) and illustrations of each light, including dimensions. Your job? Ask lots of questions.
Step 3
Adapt
Next up - fine-tune the plan. With your feedback, we adapt the preliminary design. Final adjustments are usually made to joinery details. Once these are completed, the plan can be finalised. At this stage in the project we require a deposit to confirm you’d like Liv Light to go ahead. We visit your site throughout the build to ensure all details are covered and wiring/switching is as specified.
Step 4
Supply
We take care of all the details. Once we receive your deposit, we order your lighting. Lead times for products vary depending on suppliers, from five to 50 working days, so we prefer not to leave ordering to the last minute. When your lights arrive at our workshop, we check all fittings and label them room by room. The fittings are then stored ready for delivery to site.
Step 5
Enjoy
Communication and on-site support is key. We facilitate and guide your tradespeople through a seamless installation process. Once your lighting solutions are installed, we’ll arrange for you to walk through the site to ensure you’re happy with the end result.
